Daddy's 3rd Father's Day...

...but the first one as a father of a daughter! We had a fun and full weekend. Saturday we met with the other Dads in our Parents As Teachers group for breakfast before we headed to Gage Park for Dad's Dad at the Park where we met up with our friends, Brian & Courtney and their two, Peyton and Madi. There were lot of things for the kids to do and GG even won the drawing for a prize. She won American Girl bookends from Catholic Charities. We haven't picked them up yet, so I don't know what they look like. Looks like she's a lucky girl already! I think I was 8 before I ever won a prize : )
After those events, we rode the train and then Jack had his first pony ride! We finished up with a couple of rides on the carousel which is having its 100th birthday this year.

See us here at Gage Park on WIBW News!

Since we had a late birthday party to go to Saturday night, Sunday was more of a take it easy day, per Daddy's request. We watched "Who Killed the Electric Car", our first Netflix rental. Great documentary, highly recommended! Check out the trailer:

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, too!
