St. Patrick's Day Art Session and Snack

The Kindergarten art session today was a big hit with the kids, but maybe not as much as the cupcakes! I don't think I saw one single treat in the trash, as we do so often during class parties. They were devoured! And fast, I barely snapped a few photos before they disappeared. Mrs. Black offered Jack and GG to take the rest, 4 or 6 I think, down to the office so I didn't even get to try them myself or see how the insides turned out since I was so wrapped up in finishing the projects.

Testing testing

was testing out sending blog posts via text message. Looks like I can't really use a title and then the second post with image failed. : / just when I thought this would get easier....

New View

Secretly, I took a week of vacation last week so that I could.... clean. yep. Isn't that pathetic? And I even looked FORWARD to it. sheesh. I finally got my studio cleaned up. There was so much more I wanted to do over the week, but wouldn't you know it? Two snow days - TWO. Why is it whenever I take vacation time, either there's a snow day (or TWO!) or someone is deathly ill? Anyway, I'm sure hoping I can get the rest cleaned up over the next few months (!)

Bonus: all the Christmas decorations are put up. I thought those might be around until at least Valentines Day.

Something New

I just discovered a blogging app. Don't want to be overly hopeful, but maybe this will help my blogging... At least during those times when I'm stuck in line or whatever and can't be working. We'll see. Just testing this out...

We love you! (even if it's NOT your 35th birthday I'm still using 2009 in my math and it's not 70 degrees out - currently 0 with a -26 windchill! and your tummy doesn't feel so great after ALL those all-you-can-eat-wings) Can't wait 'til we all can celebrate together tomorrow! The little ones are really looking forward to it!

snow snow go away!

Alright, I admit, the whole "white Christmas" thing was kinda cool... even the story about how we couldn't get in the driveway on Christmas eve was cute and gave us a chuckle... but two weeks and 24+" later.... well, I'm about sick of it. And I could really do without the -14 degrees overnight... and don't even get me started on the windchill.


Do you know it will be 69 degrees in San Diego tomorrow?
